Janine McCarl
Being physical active has always been important to me. After years of playing soccer and eventually transitioning into strength training and fitness classes it began to take a toll on my body. I’ve struggled with sports-related injuries, and maintaining a consistent yoga practice has helped me rehabilitate and prevent further injury. Today I feel strong, grounded, and balanced, and I have my practice to thank for that.
My classes are founded in mindful, creative sequencing and focus on proper alignment. Believing in the art of synergistic training, I provide space for students to develop flexibility while also leveraging their own body to gain strength through conditioning.
Born and raised in New York, I’ve called Boston home for over 10 years. In the spring of 2018 I graduated from Radiant Yoga Boston’s teacher training program. Since my graduation I’ve been actively teaching, and currently, I’m assisting Radiant Yoga’s 2019 teacher training program. Outside of yoga, I’m an avid traveler and the proud fur mama of Hero, the Berner.
